Easter in Pictures!

 Lent and Easter have been fun this year... We started a new tradition of creating a Lent tree where we make ornaments representing each of the Sundays during the Lent season. We also did the usual city wide egg hunt and went to church during Holy Week. Taylor and Caden got to see two of their friends be baptised on Good Friday and their excitement of contagious. It was a very fun week/end.

Star Wars LOVE!

Kevin has always LOVED Star Wars, I could take it or leave it, well the kids now have a shared passion with Kevin (besides soccer) Star Wars. A while back we let the kids watch Episode 4, 5 and 6 which they liked a lot. Well this week there was no practices and Kevin was home so we had a family movie night and watched Episode 1. Caden and Taylor sat through the entire thing and showed some serious emotions through out the movie, excitement during the pod races, saddness when someone (name I can't remember) died and joy in the humor throughout the movie. It was fun to watch them watch the movie. They are certainly growing up fast...

Proud Parent Moment!

A letter came home in the mail alerting us to the fact that Taylor's painted clown was chosen to be part of a district wide art fair being put on by a local mall! Taylor seemed bashful about this wonderful news and insisted that several children from her class were chosen for this fair and in fact only HER art was chosen from her class! We took her to see it this evening and when she saw for herself that only she was chosen. She was beaming! I think it made her feel extra special. And we could not have been more proud of our little artist :)

Busy Busy Busy

This is for all those who want to keep in tune with what is going on with us... As you all know we are busy busy busy and rarely home when you call, but with this blog I can keep everyone up to date even if it is the middle of the night.
